At every meeting we have a few tables where anyone can bring along any spare plants or seeds they have to share/swap with other members. When arriving please place plants on the tables labelled with signs ‘Plant Swap’. There will be tarpaulin covers to help protect the tables and catch any compost. Volunteers helping out on the day will be given first dibs for swaps as a thank you for their support in keeping the club running. Then at the end of the meeting visitors can take away any plants they wish. Please try not the allow any compost to spill on the floor. Feel free to bring along your own bags/trugs.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have brought plants to swap and there ends up being a few of your plants still left at the end, please do ensure you take them back with you so we don’t have to clear away any left overs. We don’t really want donators to have to take plants back home, so please don’t be shy when taking plants, we’d rather somebody makes use of them, or they’re likely to end up on the compost heap.
If you don’t have any plants or seeds to bring along to swap, please feel free to make a donation instead for anything you take. Donations can be made by card, or preferably by scanning the QR code on the Plant Swap table. Alternatively you can click the icon below to make a donation when you get home, or to pay for any items you are purchasing, such as calendars, SB Plant Invigorator Industrial Concentrate, etc.
